If you track gasoline prices, you'll find that they fluctuate regardless of the day of the week of the time of the year, as local competitors fight for customers in a very price-sensitive business. Discounting and sale prices are common practices in virtually all retail businesses. For example: prices on Boxing Day tend to be lower than during the pre-Christmas period; travel fares vary with the season or demand patterns; movie tickets are often discounted on Tuesday, but not on Saturday night. Gasoline retailing is no different. As demand tends to be higher on weekends and in summer, there's a greater chance that prices will be discounted when demand is lower, on weekdays and in winter. There are, nonetheless, exceptions to this trend.

Williwa comes from the name Williwaw (will e wo) [noun], which is defined as a sudden violent squall blowing offshore from a mountainous coast. At Gas King / SnacKing a Williwa is a cool refreshing slush beverage that is delicious all year long…but especially on those AAAHHH…hot summer days! (We spell it a bit differently too!)
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please return it with receipt to any Gas King location for a full refund in the tender paid. Some restrictions apply. Please see the Refund Policy in this section for further details.
Car Washes
Keeping your car clean will significantly help preserve its overall value, according to the Car Care Council. "Simply cleaning your vehicle not only fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment, but it also protects your valuable vehicle investment," said Rich White, executive director of the Car Care Council. "It’s a task that takes very little money or effort, but has huge returns." Polishing your vehicle once every six months and washing it once a week prevents the buildup of damaging chemicals and dirt that may harm the vehicle’s finish. In addition to regular care, it is important to look for any dents, dings, scratches or cracked glass. These problems, when left unattended, can lead to more expensive repairs down the line. Frequent washing and polishing is also the best way to protect your car’s finish from the damaging effects of harsh ultraviolet rays and acid rain.

It depends on the type of wash you desire at the time. While the auto washes of today do a far better job of cleaning vehicles than older style auto washes, it is still commonly believed that the self-serve car wash can do a better, more thorough job. With a self-serve car wash you can spend more time washing certain areas of your vehicle, which will ensure those areas are extra clean. You may also get a bit dirty and wet. An automatic wash works well when you don’t want to run the risk getting a bit dirty, and your car is not extremely filthy.
We strive to keep our car washes operating at optimum performance and pride ourselves in having clean modern facilities. If, for whatever reason, you are not completely satisfied with your wash please advise one of our attendants and we’ll make it right.
It is simply better for the environment to wash your car in a professional car wash rather than at home. Washing your car in the driveway uses about 450 liters (120 gallons) compared to about 150 liters (40 gallons) in a car wash. Also, when washing your vehicle at home the chemicals used spill onto your driveway and then into the storm sewer. The contaminated water, toxic chemicals, heavy metals, oil and grease enter the storm sewer untreated and therefore flow straight into local waterways, contributing to water pollution and negatively affecting local waterways. Also, there are no such things as environmentally benign soaps; even soaps labeled ‘environmentally friendly’ leave a chemical footprint for aquatic life to deal with.
Aside from the typical soap, rinse, foam brush and wax we offer vacuum cleaners, pre-soak, tire cleaner, engine cleaner, foaming polish, spot free rinse and dryers.
A car wash cycle is a unit of time that you receive for the amount of money you pay. For example, you deposit a $1.00 coin into the coin meter in the car wash bay and you receive one car wash cycle, which is 2 minutes 45 seconds. $1.00 = one cycle. One cycle = 2 minutes 45 seconds.
